SCAR TREATMENT

Scars are a natural outcome of the body’s wound healing process, often resulting in tissue that, while functional, is aesthetically different and sometimes less flexible than the original skin. They form due to the overproduction of extracellular matrix tissue by fibroblasts and myofibroblasts during the healing process, influenced significantly by the inflammatory response at the injury site.
